Church & growth

What began as a visit to a church on Grandparents' Day for my wife and me turned into full-time ministry when we were in our early 20s. I sold my screen-printing business and pursued ordination in becoming a pastor by taking classes at Global University. Later, I earned a bachelor's degree in psychology focused on counseling, motivated by my desire to help others. This journey led me to one-on-one counseling, team building, and public speaking, while also leveraging my design and marketing experience. As a result, every church we joined saw significant growth. To this day, I still use my experiences in pastoring, design, and marketing to consult with organizations to help them succeed.

organic growth

When working with churches, paid advertising sometimes isn’t in the budget. This doesn’t mean that a church can’t gain followers and make a substantial impact in the community. It’s just a matter of finding ways to market organically. When the brand is truly defined and there is a culture to support it, then there’s more opportunities to get people involved in it’s vision and mission. Allowing people to become owners in the work is what inspires growth. Encouraging volunteers, celebrating the wins, and posting photos on social media of exciting things will attract people who want to become a part of the good things taking place. If a church wants to grow, then it is a matter of celebrating with the people that help get you there.

media & production

In today’s technological era, there are so many tools that can help a church get a message beyond it’s walls. Things like websites and social media allow us to promote events, post photos and videos, along with stream live services. Often, a church doesn’t have the technical staff to know how to do all of this, but I learned that there are tutorial videos for everything you are willing to try. Working in churches gave me weekly experience in all things media and production. I took time to learn about professional sound, lighting, and stage design. About projectors and LED walls. About recording and online streaming. About photography and video editing. About posting on social media. About building websites. Why? Because where there is a need, I try to make a way.

All forms of design & marketing

When learning how to fulfill the need, I use design and marketing to make it possible. There are all forms of design and marketing that can be used when it comes to operating a church. Service design, UX/UI design, graphic design, photography, video, brand marketing, digital media, and websites are all of the things I use to help a church reach it’s full potential. Below are examples of video bumpers, photography that I’ve taken, LED background designs, event designs and more.
